NO PERSONAL DATA

Lessico has no accounts and shows no ads. It never asks for your name, your email, or anything else that identifies you personally.

Your progress (completed levels, reviewed words, audio settings, and language choices) is saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data.

ANONYMOUS USAGE ANALYTICS

So that we can tell where people get stuck and make the game better, Lessico records a small number of anonymous events: reaching the language screen, finishing the tutorial, finishing the practice room, finishing the first level, reaching the level menu, being shown the subscription screen, closing it, and starting a subscription. Each one is just the name of the moment and the time it happened.

These events are labelled with a random identifier created the first time you open the app. It is not your device's identifier, it is not linked to any account, and it cannot be traced back to you. Location lookup is switched off, so no country or city is recorded.

This data is processed on our behalf by PostHog, on servers in the European Union. It is used only to improve Lessico. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never combined with data from anywhere else.

ADVERTISING MEASUREMENT

Lessico is sometimes advertised on TikTok. So that we can tell whether those ads actually bring anyone to the game, the app includes TikTok's measurement kit. It reports four things to TikTok: that the app was installed, that it was opened, whether it was opened again the next day, and whether a subscription was started.

Apple calls this tracking, so we declare it as tracking on our App Store page, and you can see it there before you download. In plain terms: TikTok can connect your install of Lessico to an ad you were shown. Your device may be identified to TikTok for that purpose. This data goes to TikTok's servers in the United States and is governed by TikTok's own privacy policy.

Lessico never shows the "Allow tracking?" prompt, which means the app does not have permission to read your device's advertising identifier and TikTok receives less information as a result. We do not sell your data, we do not build profiles, and we do not advertise to you inside the game.

PURCHASES

The Lessico Pro subscription is handled by Apple through the App Store. Lessico never sees or stores any payment information. Apple's own privacy policy describes how that data is processed.
